Albany Indoor Park
Become a Board Member
Board Position Descriptions
Chairperson(s) - Over sees all park operations, trains all
other board positions and fill any vacant positions if
needed. Also, handles relations with the Boys and Girls
Club of Albany and leads all board meetings.
Membership Secretary - Keeps records of all members,
assists in registration, distributes member badges and
provides a current roster to all board members. Also
keeps an up to date phone roster in the notebook. Takes
notes during board meetings.
Treasurer - Handles all finances, proposes a budget for
entire board to approve, keeps running balance sheet
and makes all payments.
Calendar Coordinator - Organizes entire shift calendar,
keeps current calendar in notebook and obtains an
annual events calendar from the Boys and Girls Club.

Calendar Assistant - Makes reminder calls to all members
prior to their scheduled shift.
Public Relations - Manages all advertisement
opportunities. Handles all public issues prior to referring
them to the Chairperson.
Activities Coordinator - Organizes all parties and activities
held at the park.
Newsletter Editor/Web manager - writes a monthly
newsletter and mails it out to all members. Also, maintains
the website. Updates current information and responds
to emails generated from the webpage.
Toy Clean Manager - Manages and is present at all 8 toy
cleans, keeps records of toys and replaces broken toys.

| Albany Indoor Park board positions will be voted on in April. If you would like to become a board member, please come to the April 8th meeting at 11:20 AM. All meetings are held at the park. |
